Julius Clinical is an independent Academic Research Organisation (ARO). Our origins lie in the Julius Centre for Health Sciences and First-Line Medicine. The Julius Centre is one of the 11 divisions within the University Medical Centre Utrecht (UMC Utrecht).
By virtue of academic expertise and (international) knowledge networks, Julius Clinical is capable of being actively involved in the design, the implementation and interpretation of clinical research.
Julius Clinical has completed over 50 studies, with expertise in both studies initiated by the investigator as well as studies sponsored by the industry. More than 130,000 patients have been included in studies in 39 countries around the world, with innovative medicines in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases and diseases of the central nervous system (CNS).
We prefer focusing on research that makes a valuable contribution to medical practice and to the health of patients.
